【摘要】:ThispartofISO10333specifiestestsandrequirementsforcompletepersonalfallarrestsystems(PFAS)madeupfromspecificcombinationsofcomponentsandsubsystemsselectedfromthoseconformingtotheotherpartsofISO10333andtoISO14567,whereitisbothimportantanddesirabletoascertainsatisfactorysystemperformanceandinteractivecomponentcompatibility.ItincludesPFASperformancetestsusingarigidtorsotestmassasasurrogateforthefader.Examplesofpersonalfallarrestsystems,aswellasdescriptionsofhowcomponentsorsubsystemsmaybeconnectedtogethertoconstituteasystem,arealsogiven.ThispartofISO10333isapplicabletoPFASlimitedtosingle-personuseofatotalmassnotexceeding100kgand,whenactivated,willarrestthepersonandlimitthearrestingforcetoamaximumof6kN.Itisnotapplicabletoa)PFASwhichusewaistbeltsorchestharnessesasthesolebodyholdingcomponent,b)PFASincorporatinglanyardswithoutenergyabsorbersorwithoutameansofenergydissipation,c)subsystemsandcomponentsoutsidethePFASscopesoftheotherpartsofISO10333andISO14567,ord)equipmentusedformaterialliftingpurposes.Whereotherfeaturesareintegralwithcomponentsandsubsystemswhichallowthemtobeassembledintoothertypesofsafetysystemassociatedwithpersonalfallarrestsystems—forexample,workpositioningsystems(WPS),fallrestraintsystems(FRS),controlleddescentsystems(CDS),confinedspaceaccesssystems(CSAS)orrescuesystems(RS)—thispartofISO10333relatesonlytothefallarrestfunctionofsuchcomponentsandsubsystems.ThispartofISO10333doesnotspecifythoseadditionalrequirementsthatwouldapplywhenpersonalfallarrestSystemsaresubjectedtospecialconditionsofuse(where,forexample,thereexistunusuallimitationsconcerningaccesstotheplaceofworkand/orparticularenvironmentalfactors).NOTEPersonalfallarrestsystemsoutsidethescopeofthispartofISO10333needtobeperformancetestedinthemannerinwhichtheyareintendedtobeused,takingintoaccounttheworkplacegeometry.Advicewillneedtobesoughtfromtheequipmentmanufactureraccordingly.
