【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticalprocedurefordeterminingthetransmissivity,storagecoefficient,specificyield,andhorizontal-to-verticalhydraulicconductivityratioofanunconfinedaquifer.Itisusedtoanalyzethedrawdownofwaterlevelsinpiezometersandpartiallyorfullypenetratingobservationwellsduringpumpingfromacontrolwellataconstantrate.1.2TheanalyticalproceduregiveninthistestmethodisusedinconjunctionwithGuideD4043andTestMethodD4050.1.3ThevaliduseoftheNeumanmethodislimitedtodeterminationoftransmissivitiesforaquifersinhydrogeologicsettingswithreasonablecorrespondencetotheassumptionsofthetheory.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
