【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforhigh-densitypolyethylene(PE)materials,pipeandfittingsforpressureornon-pressureoilandgasproducingapplicationstoconveyfluidssuchasoil,dryorwetgas,multiphasefluids,andnon-potableoilfieldwater.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverpipeforgasdistributionapplications.1.1.1Forthepurposesofthisspecification,high-densitypolyethylenematerialisSpecificationD3350densitycellclassification3orhigher.ThisspecificationdoesnotcovermaterialshavingSpecificationD3350densitycellclassificationlessthan3suchasmediumorlowdensitypolyethylenematerials.1.2Units8212;ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyofeachother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-compliancewiththestandard.Valuesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
